Protect Her is here to revolutionize menstrual health education.

Adolescents growing up today experience puberty at younger ages than in previous decades, including as young as 9-11 years old. Providing menstruation and puberty education after the onset of these developmental changes can diminish the usefulness of the content for early adolescents who may socially, mentally, and physically benefit from this information.¹

This is why we recommend beginning education at least 180 days prior to the earliest onset, giving young people adequate time to prepare, ask questions, and build confidence. We begin education at age 8-9 — well before the onset of menstruation — ensuring young people are prepared, confident, and knowledgeable from the start. Unlike traditional programs that focus primarily on biology, we equip young people with real-world, practical guidance to understand and manage their menstrual health effectively.

Our certified instructors - specialists in menstrual health, hormone coaching, and medical professionals - create comfortable, engaging environments where questions are welcomed and curiosity is encouraged. By providing separate, tailored education for both boys and girls, we're accelerating the reduction of menstrual stigma while ensuring everyone receives age-appropriate information in a setting where they feel most at ease.

Periods are natural—learning about them should be too.

Our Approach

Rather than traditional one-time biology lessons, we deliver dynamic, year-round education that meets our students' needs. Our curriculum builds progressively, recognizing that menstrual health looks different in 6th grade than it does in 12th grade - just as our students' bodies, responsibilities, and environments change.

What Sets Our Program Apart:

  • Certified professionals lead all sessions and create an environment where questions and discussion flow naturally

  • Engaging, practical curriculum focused on real-life skills - from daily management techniques to understanding how hormones affect energy and emotions

  • Separate classes for boys and girls ensure everyone feels comfortable asking questions while learning age-appropriate information about menstrual health

  • Progressive, multi-year support that adapts to students' changing needs throughout adolescence

  • Focus on working with your body's natural rhythms rather than viewing menstruation as an obstacle to overcome
